PCIe-GL26 is an AI-enabled automotive six-port GMSL2 camera frame grabber card. It is a turnkey industrial-grade solution that incorporates drivers for selected GMSL2 cameras along with video streaming sample codes.
Designed to provide superior outdoor vision capabilities, PCIe-GL26 connects automotive GMSL2 cameras to advanced x86 autonomous vehicle computing platforms. These cameras are ideal for autonomous vehicle applications due to features such as IP67 waterproof rating, high dynamic range (120dB HDR), auto white balance (AWB), and LED flicker mitigation (LFM). This makes them well suited for computer vision in outdoor environments with constantly changing illumination. Powerful x86 computers equipped with PCIe-GL26 can capture high-quality images with minimal latency under lighting conditions ranging from bright daylight to complete darkness.
With a half-length, standard height, and single-slot form factor, PCIe-GL26 fits in most host computers with PCIe expansion. Up to four PCIe-GL26 cards can be installed in a host computer, supporting up to 24 simultaneous GMSL2 camera streams. Featuring a unique synchronization mechanism, it can acquire images from six GMSL2 cameras simultaneously with microsecond-level channel-to-channel skew. It also supports GPS PPS input to align image data with LIDAR sensors or other PCIe-GL26 cards in separate host machines.
Powered by Jetson Xavier™ NX, PCIe-GL26 is more than a frame grabber card. With 21 TOPS AI performance, 6x GMSL2 camera inputs, 1x GPS PPS input, 1x RS232, and 1x isolated CAN 2.0, PCIe-GL26 serves as an AI camera sensor hub capable of sensor fusion and data pre-processing for ADAS and autonomous vehicle applications.
